Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) has been uplifting lives and promoting mental wellness for all since 1968.
How we think, feel and act is influenced by our mental health. Cultivating mental wellbeing is key to a fulfilling and meaningful life.
We provide a broad range of services across our 9 centres. These include counselling, creative services, outreach activities, rehabilitation, skills training and job opportunities.
Let’s celebrate individuals who have overcome the odds, as well as those who have touched the minds and hearts of others. Be inspired by their stories.

S-A-Y stands for Sports, Arts and Youth.
SAMH Creative SAY! is a preventive and wellness centre that serves the youth and young adult population through creative multi-modal learning and interventions. Through our integrated model and use of sports, outdoors and creative therapeutic interventions, we aim to create meaningful experiences for youths to improve their quality of life such as stress management, and cultivation of good mental well-being and resilience.
As a centre that believes youths and young adults aged 12 to 35 years old should have a “SAY” in their own lives, we also train youth volunteers and mentees to empower them to take an active role in personal and community mental well-being.
Learn new skills and express your feelings through visual arts, music and dance. A relaxing way to meet people from all walks of life. We offer new activities and themes every month!
Art Therapy can help when words are not adequate to express or convey the feelings within. Our professional art therapists are at hand to guide you through difficult life and recovery from distress.
Somatic Experiencing® (SE) method is a body-oriented and integrative approach to healing, resolution and prevention.
You may often find us at schools and workplaces conducting talks and experiential workshops, where we share the holistic benefits of combing creative therapeutic interventions and sports in improving mental wellness. Participants can learn how to de-stress and care for their mental health, enabling them to be more productive at work and leisure.
