Training Executive at MINDSET Learning Hub

MINDSET Learning Hub (MLH) is a collaboration between the Jardine Matheson Group of companies MINDSET Care Limited and the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH). MLH aims to provide Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training and employment placement, in industries such as cleaning, food and beverage, hospitality, healthcare support and retail, for Persons-In-Recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Head of programme in the design, development, implementation, and delivery of training programmes
  • Partner Case Workers to understand required skills and job responsibilities to formulate required intervention or training and coaching strategies
  • Perform learning needs analysis (LNA) for enrolled beneficiaries to develop individualised intervention or learning plans
  • Develop and deliver classroom and online training in the areas of employability skills, soft skills and social skills
  • Develop and conduct in-centre and off site on-job-training in various areas such as basic cleaning, F&B, office skills, customer service
  • Conduct in-centre and off-site observations and assessments on skills and competencies imparted
  • Provide individual and group coaching for hard and soft skills to enable development towards employment
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of learning and skills application using sound models such as Kirkpatrick’s
  • Perform continuous improvement review on training content, materials, effectiveness and validity
  • Present and share centre and SAMH objectives and mission to visitors that include funders, public and representatives from government and social service agencies, school.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a diploma in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, social work, Training and Development, Job Coaching.
  • Certification in instructional design, facilitation, coaching and On-Job-Training
  • Experience in administraering Occupational Therapy or skills assessments
  • Patient and Passionate about working in Social Service and with persons with different special needs
  • Independent and able to work in a team.
  • Willing to work in centre (Jurong) and off-site
  • Willing to work on some weekends, when required
