Senior Finance Assistant (6 months contract)

Job Description

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset and general ledger data;
  • Prepare audit schedules with variance analysis;
  • Assist in ensuring compliance to internal control procedures and regulatory requirements, identify areas for continual improvement;
  • Prepare bank balance schedules;
  • Maintain donation records and issue donation receipts;
  • Annual e-submission of donation information to Inland Revenue of Singapore;
  • Provide assistance in grant related matters;
  • Provide ad-hoc (non-accounting) support to colleagues for major events;
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Professional certificate in Accounting preferred
  • Those with working experience in a Social Service Organization preferred
  • A team player who has the ability to work independently when required
  • Meticulous and someone who possesses a high level of integrity.
  • Good knowledge of accounting practices
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Possess good IT skills
  • Candidate who can start immediately preferred
