Head/Deputy Head, SAMH Creative Services

SAMH Creative Services began in 2011, offering arts programmes on a monthly basis, and subsequently expanded to include sports and music. Here is a relaxed and supportive environment, the art of making friends is simple. Our activities help people bond, without bias or concern if anyone has a mental health condition. Many of our activities are open to the public to encourage awareness and reduce stigma for persons with mental illness.

As a Deputy Head for SAMH Creative Services, it allows you to express your creativity with your leadership and ideas. You will take on the duties of management and clinical work to inspire and help others. If you wish to help others with your creative side, feel free to apply and be part of a meaningful journey.


  • Identifying and analysing future trends and strategic issues
  • Create strategic plans for fundraising
  • Monitor and report department work plans
  • Plan annual budget utilization, KPIs and inventory
  • Build a relationship with internal and external parties
  • Organising and executing key events and projects
  • Plan and review manpower requirements and career progression for staff
  • Identify, define and implement assessment and measurement tools
  • To discuss with the supervisor on the work plans and progress of the centre
  • To coordinate and provide supervision

Clinical work:

  • To be able to create individualized care plans
  • To plan and facilitate groups and workshops
  • To ensure that all clinical forms are up to date
  • To report any unethical/illegal practice
  • To discuss with the supervisor on the work plans and progress of the centre
  • To coordinate and provide supervision

Other duties assigned by the Executive Director


  • Master in Social Work, Counselling, or allied health discipline
  • 8-10 years of experience in leadership, operation, creative/clinical projects and programmes
  • More than 8 years of experience in mental health preferred or social service organisation
