Assistant Manager/Manager, HR & Admin at SAMH

Purpose:

Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, this position will oversee the full spectrum of Human Resource & Administration including but not limited to recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent retention, organisational development as well as administering policies, procedures and best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • To ensure smooth running of HR operations
  • To review HR policies, processes and procedures
  • To work on yearly manpower budget and performance appraisal exercise
  • To provide guidance and support to Recreation Committee on staff welfare related matters
  • To conduct exit interview and handling of disciplinary, counselling and grievances of staff
  • Other supporting and general administrative functions such as overseeing office admin for HQ office, provide secretariat support to Board and Personnel Committee, etc.

The Successful Applicant

You are a passionate, energetic and enthusiastic candidate with a passion to contribute in the social service environment with:-

  • Degree in HRM or equivalent;
  • A HR generalist with 3 to 5 year’s practical HR experience as team lead/Assistant Manager coupled with hands on experience in handling payroll function and HRIS system. Working knowledge in the social service sector will be an added advantage;
  • Good knowledge of Singapore labour laws and practices.
  • A team player who has the ability to work independently;
  • Meticulous and someone who possesses a high level of integrity.
