Activity Assistant @ SAMH Activity Hub

Job Description:

  • Reporting to the Head of Centre, the Activity Assistant is required to support and run meaningful, social and recreational activities for the residents.


  • To assist in running social recreational activities.
  • To assist in daily operations e.g. Sundry Shop, Cafeteria.
  •  To perform administrative duties e.g. monthly statistics, progress reports.
  • To assist in covering duties or sessions of other staff in their absence.
  • To assist in overseeing the Sheltered Workshop and any other work schemes.
  • Any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer.

Job Requirements:

  • Passionate, energetic and enthusiastic candidate with a passion to contribute in the social service environment.
  • Additionally, you should possess: GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ level or NITEC.
  • Enjoy working with the elderly, providing coaching in recreational, health, fitness programs and other relevant programs
  • Prior work experience in Social Services sector will have advantage.
