Professorial Fellow and Chair for Entrepreneurship at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore

Dr Francis Yeoh is presently Professorial Fellow at the NUS School of Computing, teaching entrepreneurship and mentoring startup companies. In a career spanning over 30 years, he has been involved in various aspects of research and technology management, innovation and entrepreneurship. He had been a research scientist, research institute director, tech company CEO, investor, professor and government policy maker.

He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, from Loughborough University (UK) and a Masters degree from the MIT Sloan Fellows programme for innovation and global leadership.

Assoc Prof Leslie Lim’s interest in psychiatry stemmed from interest in the study of emotions and behaviour. Fully aware that psychiatry is a highly stigmatized profession, he nevertheless chose to embark upon this specialty to help alleviate the suffering of those marginalized by their illness and treatment. It was a difficult decision as he had to leave behind his interest in Internal Medicine. He also had to forsake 3 overseas music scholarships to take up undergraduate training in the faculty of Medicine. Assoc Prof Lim trained in Psychiatry at St George’s Hospital Medical School Psychiatry training programme in London. He was President of SAMH for 12 years.

Adj Assoc Prof Daniel Fung is the CEO of the Institute of Mental Health in Singapore. He is Adjunct Associate Professor at all 3 Singapore medical schools. Adj Assoc Prof Fung is the President of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions and President of the College of Psychiatrists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. Adj Assoc Prof Fung has co-authored over 200 peer reviewed research papers, books and book chapters.
