The financing needs are met by donations and other income; piece rate subsidy funding for operational expenses of the Oasis (Psychiatric) Day Activity Centre and Bukit Gombak Group Homes from the Ministry of Health. The main bulk of the financing needs are met by annual allocations from the Community Chest, the fund rising division of National Council of Social Service (NCSS). The IPC status of SAMH as a member of the Health Endowment Fund, a gazetted IPC administered by the Ministry of Health, enables SAMH to receive tax-exempt donations.
